How to connect and begin your journey

The Garden is a multiplayer text world. Explore through written commands, meet characters, and discover the world one room at a time.

Connecting

Use a MUD client such as Mudlet. Connect to your server hostname on 4000 (the game port). The website and the game use separate connections.

Replace the example server hostname with your actual server address before publishing.

Your first steps

Enter a character name, follow the introductory prompts, and use help or commands to learn the interface.
